COMPARISON OF GLYCO PROTEINS LEVELS WITH SOME BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS IN IRAQI PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LIVER DISEASES
Abstract
The aim of this study is to assess the comparison of serum protein bound hexose PBH , seromuciod proteins SP and protein bound fucose PBF with some biochemical parameters (age, hematological parameters , liver functions , lipid profile) in sera target population{61 (chronic hepatitis B & C)}and (30) healthy subjects. The results indicated that there were a significant increase in the levels of the serum PBH, SP , PBF , TSP , AST, ALT ,ALP and TSB in HBV and HCV patients (p <0.05) in comparison with healthy subjects and a significant decrease in albumin and lipid profile levels . Finally, there were a positive correlation in serum PBH levels with ALT& negative correlation with SP, SP showed positive correlation with PBF and PBF showed positive correlation with ALP.Published
