Current Clinical Research journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed publication of Department of creative wirting and Publication, Mahatama Gandhi Institute, Mauritius and aims to provide content that is current, relevant and reliable context, to doctors in primary, secondary and tertiary level hospitals, in order to enhance the quality of clinical care through improvement in knowledge, attitudes and skills. The journal hopes to form a community of like-minded medical professionals who will benefit through the sharing of knowledge and experience.
Journal Ethics
Journal/Association are committed to meeting and upholding standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process. This is an open access journal, and articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License, which allows others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given and the new creations are licensed under the identical terms.
Digital Archiving
Journal provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS.
Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publically accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website.
CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from journal and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware.
Scope of the journal
The journal publishes clinical reviews, practice guidelines, summaries of published studies and evidence-based medicine, original research articles, case reports, commentaries, image-based CME, clinical practice stories, interviews, and special features in all disciplines of medical science. The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to broad specialties, medical specialties, surgical specialties, pre-clinical specialties/ basic science and allied health sciences. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference. Another important aim of the journal is medical education and articles that fully or partly fulfil this aim of promoting medical education will be given priority.
